Nope. Came without a windlass.... Why? Recommend against it?

Got the final pieces drawn up to send to Aquamarine Deck for the new flooring. Still need to finalize color and pattern choice.

No I just think it's crazy what you do to your boats. I give you credit!
I would want it myself 👍

Cheaper than my old car related habits :)

This 292 already has the stainless steel base plate where the windlass would mount. So I just had to. It's just begging for a winch to be installed there. If it didn't have that base plate I wouldn't do it.

Went for an evening ride to see the Christmas lights on Lake Austin and sip hot cocoa.

Finally got some time to work on getting the swim platform installed. I'll take some more photos and video once it's all wrapped up.

I landed on medium gray over black. We have done the teak colors in the past two boats and my wife wanted something different. Fingers crossed!! :)

Also, I have some old seadeck material left over. I'm going to do an experiment on what I have left over by coating various sections with different hydrophobic products to see if any of them work well on the foam decking material. I'm going to try 303, ceramic coating, and maybe 2 other products. Then pressure wash, scuff them, etc... and see which one holds up the best. If any of them work well I'll be coating all my flooring in it to help avoid stains.

Working on replacing the old late 90's Garmin setup with a new Garmin touchscreen Echomap UHD 73cv setup. With my 8yr old helper, of course. Going to integrate it with the Fusion stereo system as well via NMEA. Maybe some other gizmos too once I get it all working and setup. This should be fun.

Are you running your SeaDek to the edge of the platform? Or to the edge of the knurling/texture?
