that it just the standard A36. Not the new A36BR. The A36BR you don't step up into the bow. it is a straight walk thru

But either way for that kind of cash I would be going with the Formula 350CR. I love Cobalt and all but for that size boat I would be going with a formula.

No doubt about that TG.
I would buy an R7 again, but Cobalt loses me after the R30.
The A series boats just don’t belong on the same water as the Formulas.

JMO.
If Malibu has eyes, they Ax the A series and reintroduce a boat that competes. I’m sure the short term plan is to see these latest A series through, but there is no way they can compete with the stunning look and interior layouts.

Ahhhh I missed the steps. I’m with you guys on the Formula. I’m not understanding the wowing difference in eliminating the underneath area. Unless the price point becomes more realistic?

What I got a laugh out of is Village Marina (lake of the ozarks Cobalt Dealer) posted pictures of the new A36BR in the Cobalt boats facebook group. And a few of their customers are asking when the A40BR or larger is coming? Seriously what are people doing with 35-40ft bow riders? I walked on an R30 at the boat show and it seemed like it was gigantic.

I know LOTO is a rough lake with tons of Cruisers and yachts now that just constantly plow. But I would think with that kind of issue you would just give in and get a Formula Sun Sport or something along those lines.

I was down at our place in Naples Florida a couple of weeks ago. Luxury Boat wonderland of the east where money is no object.
The same A40 from three years ago goes unsold at the local Cobalt dealer. Pretty much all you need to know.

That’s the formula capital of the US it seems too. I’m trying to help my buddy who boats at LOTO find a 2005-2008 formula 330ss and most I find are in Florida. It’s funny LOTO boaters don’t want Florida boats because of salt. Yet Florida boaters don’t want LOTO boats because of the 6ft wake they bounce around in all the time.
