Sulu, raise the shields...🤣
Yeah, I had that coming Liquid!🤣🤣

But, it’s probably NOT your grandpas A series. 😊
May be the first Malibu influence.

I hope you’re right. I’m still a little split between R5 and R7 so I’m hoping for an A26. I’d also like the 25SC style wrap around swim platform and maybe Malibu can cool up the folding tower a bit.

Since I’m making a list to Santa I will also add that any improvements to the surf system would be welcome. After reading everything I can possibly find it seems the current system is good but not quite as clean or tall a wave as a similar sized wake boat. Since the VP / Cobalt surf system is still very new I’m sure there will be improvements and maybe they can close that gap. It won’t effect my decision but doesn’t hurt to hope

I just want to see them offer more power in the 25-28ft range. These boats have had the same amount of hp for almost 20 years. Only thing that has really changed is Vovlo has made the motor smaller

Good point. I think two problems are in the way of that. First, there is only so much power that can be made from a single engine that would allow a 5 year warranty. Next, the beam doesn’t allow a second stern engine. I would be all over a twin engine R7 if that were possible. 🤗
I would not be surprised to see a twin engine outboard R7 in the future.
