MR16D-NW7-40 LED replacement bulb at superbrightleds.com

This fits my 2008 272 with the stainless steel docklight covers.

Also available from Amazon, I believe. There are a couple of
threads about replacing docking lights with LED bulbs.. do a
search. I think BBP did the first one.

Can't be sure ...

Re: Trim gauge scale.

I've always thought the two marks on the panel guage were the
"vertical" indicator... works out pretty close on mine, if I run the
drive all the way down (forward) and set that to full-down position
with the sender.

do a search for "carpet backing"... BBP posted a good solution. Used it on my
snap-in carpet, no problems so far.

Re: Replacing Burnt out Docking Light

So I want to replace the old halogen bulbs with LED. I have an 02 246. I'm not sure whether you access the bulbs from the outside or down in the anchor locker. I tried pulling the 8 screws off the outside stainless housing, 7 of them are not coming out, just spin and spin like they are stripped ...

Yes they make a huge diff

Can you give me the link to these exact lights or ones that would work? I have an 02 246 that I'm pretty sure take the M16 bulb, but ...

2008 272, have replaced every bulb not located in dash-lights with LEDs, except
for the 3 transom lights. They go on/off with the interior lights.

Wasn't there an issue with Cobalt gelcoat that was stored (or transported) in TX during
the deepfreeze (Feb 2021)? When was your boat built?

Re: Not a good day at Lake Texoma (Mar 21)

Yeah, YT, pretty bad... we spent a weekend helping clean up over by Little City,
trees, trash, and building remnants. So many people have lost so much, it's
hard to complain too much about recreational stuff. If this had happened
closer to OKC, there would have been a whole lot more coverage... but ...

Re: Not a good day at Lake Texoma (Mar 21)

The good news is that my homeowners policy probably covers the lift.
Don't know how that'll come out after deductible, and the loss of my
"no claims" discount, but we'll see. Gotta have a slip to put a lift in,
and don't know how long it's going to take until BCM can re-build.
There's a waiting list ...

So, my lift is out of the water, now. Haven't had anyone look at it, yet,
to see if it's salvageable.

Several others have been dragged up on shore.. most look worse than mine.
They haven't announced and expected date for re-opening the marina, or the
boat ramp, even.
