2005 272 docking lights upgrade to LED?

Curious if I can just swap bulbs out to LEDs. If so, what size do I need?

Are the bulbs replaced from outside the boat, or is the process an extended arm into a faraway place inside the gunwale?

Page 50 of the owner's manual for 2005 Cobalt boats has the bulb types for various locations for your boat (see below link). I don't have a boat of the same vintage, so can't tell you how to access each bulb.

This fits my 2008 272 with the stainless steel docklight covers.

Also available from Amazon, I believe. There are a couple of
threads about replacing docking lights with LED bulbs.. do a
search. I think BBP did the first one.

Looks like that particular bulb was discontinued but now that I know MR16 is the bulb type I should be good to go.
