Home for us is Louisville, KY. A 2.5 hour drive gets us to Dale Hollow lake that sits on the KY/TN border with 653 miles of gorgeous shoreline to explore!

Stockton, California "The Delta"

The second largest inland waterway in the United States.

Triangle between San Francisco and Sacramento We boat the eastern Delta and never run out of restaurants and bars .
The Delta is a Federal waterway and the port of Stockton brings in ships from all over the world.
The USCG and sherrifs patrol and monitor all aspects.

There is no speed limit.
No noise restrictions.

We love it.. stop by anytime!!!

Bfun and BBP...are you guys lake buddies?

I'm from Scottsdale/Phoenix AZ. We primarily boat on Lake Pleasant, but have been on Bartlett and Saguaro too. Canyon, Apache, and Roosevelt are relatively close. Havasu, Mead, and Powell are all about a 4 hour drive, as is the Parker Strip on the Colorado River. San Diego about 6 hours. I have an aunt who lives near Navajo Lake in northern New Mexico, so we will likely spend some time out there next summer as well.

We’ve lived in Fredonia our entire lives.
Our boating choices are many. Our primary choices are Lake Chautauqua, or our favorite, Lake Erie to Buffalo and the Niagara River surrounding Grand Island to Niagara Falls.

Bfun bought a 220 from me this past spring. Since then we have stayed in contact. He also has a Jeep and I'm a Service Manager at a Jeep dealership. We live in the same city,we boat in the same area.
So we have a few things in common.
B boats the big lake more than I do, it gets real green in the summer it's shallow 19ft and it gets real rough in a hurry so I boat more in the Oshkosh area as my brother lives on it. Lake Butte DesMortes. So yes we are boating buddies.:-)

I'm live in Central Oklahoma on a homestead claimed by my Great Great Grandfather in 1889 during the Oklahoma Land Run.

We boat in Eastern OK at Tenkiller Lake. We've had a place at the north end of the lake for about 10 years and its our happy place, our sanctuary, our retreat. We have intentions of visiting Beaver and Table Rock at some point, and also Broken Bow lake in SE OK.

A group of us are planning a trip down the Arkansas this spring on the Robert S. Kerr navigational channel where the shipping barges and blue water boats come inland. Its about 70 miles and 4 locks to Fort Smith where well spend the night, then head back the next day.

Awesome BB!

cmattj, that area looks like tons of fun. Maybe I can convince my wife to take a week long trip up there some time. Gotta check the closer places off the list first but that area looks like a blast.

We live in Shepherdsville, Ky just south of Louisville. We boat at Laurel Lake in southeastern Ky, about a 3 hour drive. We always camp as it's too long a drive for a day trip.
