We just joined the Cobalt Club and share a bit about us and a few questions to pose to the experienced crowd and see how this goes:
* I still work, (heavy duty truck sales in Houston), 67, and wife is a little younger but retired.
* Wanted this boat to ride the bigger water of Lake Travis in Austin, Tx. and continue our long and distinguished career of cove hopping
* Bought a 2007 model 272 out of Lake of the Ozarks a week ago
* 496 Mag 370 hours
* SeaDeck throughout
* Ceramic coated interior and exterior glass
* Big stainless arch (non collapsable), I've heard one dealer call it a Samson brand arch? .... a question around this in a moment
* Boating since 1976, Jet boated for years, went to Wellcraft bowrider, and now bought what will probably our last boat
Questions:
* Where can I buy a replacement raised decal 272 that is on the transom above the swim platform?
* Is there a how to video of how to take down the forward and rear canvas' and stow them for trailering? Can't quite dial it in with stowing the adjustment poles so really open to input. We have both boots
* Is there a good video on diy for winterization of the engine? No owners manual with the boat
Recommendations on a sound system upgrade and before you answer this, I am not trying to entertain the whole cove or pull wakeboarders. Just a nice system with some bottom and clear mid and high range sound. I know price follows quality, but really would just like to hear it well when in the water of a cove.

That’s a great model. Yes Samson tower.

JL audio is a nice upgrade from the factory system. We’ve been pleased with ours.

Quite a bit of winterization resources on here. Definitely search around a bit.
