February 2021

Post by kas232ca »

No February photos yet??

Last Thursday we were at the river house, but everyone was working so I took the jetski from Lake Havasu up to Topock. I should have brought a jacket.

Then on Saturday, we were going to take the boat out but the wind was blowing way too hard. So, we polished the truck instead.

If anyone is really bored, they can watch my Pelican videos:

Polar Vortex has hit us hard here in MO. This is the gas dock I visit in the summer. And no ice is not normal on our lake.

Mine is cold as well. It's below 70f in the garage. The house thermostat is on as my middle son and fiance are working remotely there this week instead of our kitchen table at home:)

We are enjoying the weather in Lake Havasu also since Lake of the Ozarks is pretty much frozen over.

That does look like fun. I do like the idea of just waiting for the fish to come to me.

We don’t get this very often in Louisiana but it happened twice this year.

The boat is comfy in my shop

Since Mardis Gras was all but canceled, we spent Saturday thru Tuesday on Toledo Bend.

This was Dallas this morning. They don't own a snow shovel, let alone a snow plow

RDog that's crazy seeing snow there! Glad this Global Warming thing is such a crisis!

Umm, no BB, there are tons of 4x4s in Texas. That's part of the problem actually. They get around just fine, but they don't stop any better than a toyota corolla, so you have to be on the lookout all the time. Fortunately when weather like this hits down there most folks stay off the road, and the only ones out are people (like me) that have to be!

You can always spot the amateur travelers. They come out in droves the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break and the first day any snow or ice storm!

Oh, and here's my contribution to the boat pic thread...
C'MON SPRING!!
