You a Ford fan by chance?

Yes that plate protector helps keep the door handle on the Head door from doing too much damage to the helm vinyl when opening all the way.

What we need is a parts boat for ya. ....or a fabricator. You could make that piece. Cobalt made a number of changes after the 2000 (first year) model year to improve the 262. (Stainless cup holders; engine hatch storage handle changes; stainless docking lights; dual chrome anchor locker vents, stainless arch option; etc.). Last year of this run was 2007.

Thanks AsLan7! No, it's not our first Cobalt. We also have a 220 that'll we'll be listing for sell pretty soon.

Our new to us 2000 262 has the volvo 7.4 gsi with DP SX-M, radar arch, captains call, factory teak, pump out head, rear audio and tilt controls, front and rear table mounts, docking lights, etc.

Thank you Rabiddawg! Hopefully I can find a parts boat somewhere. Surely that piece isn't in real high demand. I'm gonna call Cobalt this week and see what they say. I'm doubtful they'll have one though.

Stereo is pretty good. I'm gonna swap out Focal for the JL marine stuff it has in it. I'm a big Focal fan. It's got two top of the line JL amps and a Rockford 12 in it now. I need to add some rear facing speaker somewhere. It only has 6 6.5's inside right now. I'm thinking on the arch with some kind of quick release mounts. Not sure just yet.... I'm open for ideas though!
