R5 Table

Post by bruceb58 »

Anyone know the dimensions of the Cobalt table?

Also, what have people bought aftermarket for a table?

I'm not allowed to answer that question. Sorry others will help. I answered it last time and have been banned from all future table questions. 😂🔮

I don't have the dimensions but will say -- we paid the $$$$ for the Cobalt table and it's pretty darn nice. Our justification was -- if you are already buying a boat that is nearly (or at) 6-figures, buying a $1k table is a small % of the cost of ownership :)

Ok please hold back the knife throwing. My Cobalt table is so darn heavy I hate getting it out. I rather have a plastic one from a toon that looks just like it but weights 5 lbs instead of 50lbs.
Whew got that off my chest!

That may be the route we take. I still want to know what the dimensions are.

Mine is round 24 inch diameter. Or do you want a rectangle one?

Not sure yet. If I can get the dimensions of the rectangular one, I will make a cardboard cutout to see if we like it

I guess I would search the web. Some like this.
Plenty to choose from.

Don't know the exact dimensions of the rectangular table (boat is currently in storage), but bet it's pretty close to the 34 x 18 one shown above. For reference, when mounted in the C-shaped seating area of the port cockpit, it overlaps the front and rear seats by a couple of inches, so it's pretty big. And as BBP says, really heavy--always afraid I'm going to drop it on my toe.

Here’s a couple pictures of the table for our 2017 R5. It’s about 33” x 19”. Hope this helps.

My eating place on our boat is the swim step. Especially when eating watermelon.

Thank you for posting your pictures.

We ended up buying a plastic table from Pontoonstuff.com. Very light and has 4 cup holders that my wife wanted. I also bought the Taco mounts. That was the expensive part

Just thinking about adding table.
My first thought is where would I store it. That would then tell me how big I wanted it. I'm thinking the rectangular size like Bruce mentioned, may stand on is side without rolling in one of the compartments, like maybe where the trash can and battery switch is located.
