Is this warrantee work?
Is this warrantee work?
Cleaning up today and noticed this on the back of my 2019 R5. Are these cracks a sign of something wrong?
Should this be covered by warrantee? Its mainly port side but I see single one on the starboard too.

Those don't look pretty. Have any impact marks on the rub rail on either side? Yes I would get out to the dealer and see What they say.

Re: Is this warrantee work?
Based on my experience this should be covered u see warranty. Had something similar On my swim platform and it was covered.
I found this on finally cleanup before dropping the boat off. Dealer is going to submit it. Not sure if I am still in warranty on gel coat. Keeping my fingers crossed.
This is the second gelcoat issue for me.

Re: Is this warrantee work?
I had some gelcoat chip off on the corner of the swim platform on my cs3 during the second season of owning the boat. It really looked like it was damaged due to impact, but he service manager at the dealer said the fiberglass had a void under the finish and Cobalt covered the repair under warranty. Regards.
Re: Is this warrantee work?
I’ve had similar hairline cracks on the bottom of my 2017 R5, plus where the bimini attaches on the starboard side. The bottom cracks were covered under warranty, but Cobalt thought the cracks around the bimini were caused by impact, so that repair was on me.
