Been in a slip too long without a lift
Anyone know what the popcorn looking stuff is on the anodes? This has happened before, I clean them up with a wire brush and it comes back a few weeks later.
This should keep me busy my last few days off work...

That looks like electrolysis? Is it possible the marina has poor grounding on the underwater electric to the dock?
Got a old Chris craft plugged in on a two prong in the next slip?
Put some fresh anodes on her and letβs look away for now.

. Hoist shopping?

But damn look at that nice fresh Goodyear Tire and Rim package. Those still look great!
Get the pressure washer out, we will check in on progress in a day or so.

Could be, there's a bunch of old boats on shore power at my dock. These are aluminum anodes too, I bought them back when I thought we might take the boat to San Diego and put in salt water occasionally. I ordered a set of magnesium anodes yesterday since she'll probably never see salt water again. Hopefully they will work better. I have a deposit in on a Hydrohoist 8800, hoping to have it installed in the next week or two. Hoist shopping has been a fiasco.

As said, most likely electrolysis. Could be some sort of marine growth, but given that it's isolated to only certain areas, not likely.
That grass skirt is probably costing you 1-2mph on the top end....just saying

Forget the 1 to 2mph - what is it costing his pride and dignity?

Typically the light "grass" comes off (mostly) with a good 10-20 minute fast run. However, the mistake you did make is to allow that stuff to dry. When its wet it will come off pretty easily with a good pressure wash. Once its dry it takes some work to remove. If it were me I would put her back in the water for 20-30 minutes, then pull her and start a pressure wash very soon after.
Mine was in fresh water for 4 month and looked worse than yours. I put her on the trailer and had about a 30-minute drive home and then pressure washed. It all comes right off. Not sure what is going on with the anodes. I've never seen that in fresh water. If there was current leakage I would expect to see more deterioration of the anodes.

Get yourself some Bio Kleen hull cleaner. That will take that right off.

I'm trying I'm trying!!!!
The grass is coming off pretty easy. Wash, hit it with The Works, let it soak for a few minutes, then wash again.
Prop and Simrek cleaned up well with The Works too.
Working on the outdrive, completely sanded/primed/painted the lower unit. Degreased the upper and hit it with another top coat just to shine it up again. Currently working on the transom assembly, never got there before so it was pretty bad. Hopefully paint it this afternoon, then get into oil change/impeller/fuel filter tomorrow, still gotta wash the bottom and then repack trailer bearings.
