New Owner Washougal, Wa
Hello all,
Finally found the Cobalt I have been looking for. 2004 200 Cobalt 350 MAG Bravo 3 Duoprop. Bought from the original owner with 224hrs on it.
Boat was meticulously maintained but would love to hear if there are things I should look for. End of the Season here in Washington so will be winterizing it soon. Any tips?
I look forward to being a part of the Cobalt Community,
Thanks in Advance for the help.

Welcome. Very nice. That was the exact way my 200 was set up. That was the boat that got me hooked on Cobalt. Enjoy it. You need to look for the led light switches and the wet sounds or jl stereo system. Tell us your back ground. Congrats.

Welcome from CA / AZ! Great looking boat. Enjoy.
Can't believe you are talking about winterizing already. We are just now looking to get back to the lake in the next few weeks as it has been just too hot.

Hello C2W. Welcome to the CobaltChat forum. So glad you found us!
Thanks for posting pics of your 220. That's a great model as bbp said. Perfect first Cobalt size to maneuver and trailer to your favorite boating destinations. How will you be using yours?
Btw, don't forget to raise that ladder before hopping up on plane. I'm not a big fan of the side entry ladders. The water put's quite a bit of side-load strain on that baby while plowing along in the 50-60 mph hour range. It's probably why Cobalt went back to the rear facing ladders. The rear facing ones tend to bounce as well but the water pressure also creates a lot of strain. I wish there were a warning light with a "quick flip" switch on the helm to raise it in 1-2 seconds. Oh well, I can always dream.
Again, welcome aboard mate!

Thats good advice as i could see that being an issue. We Use it on the Columbia River to go camping and pleasure cruising, maybe some watersports. Have been around boats my whole life but this is my first boat that I own.

Welcome from California! That single boot stripe is timeless!
I like the side ladder....as the wonder of the outdrive in shallow water trimming up for swimming won’t play a factor.
