Is that surf storage on the sunshade shot a new option? Don't think it was available when I bought mine.

Whya I find impresive is that they are lifting a boat (2:48 mark) by its from tie down which is supporting all of the boat's forward weight. I can't see the rear lift points but if they are using that rear tie downs as well, that is one strong hull on those areas.

I've read where several on the forum took a tour a while back of the manufacturing plant. Is that something Cobalt offers on a regular basis or something that was set up just for the forum group? I travel a lot and get to KS once/ twice a year and would love to take tour.

You can sign up for a Coblat factory tour. They have cut back the days though - I believe the are a few mornings a week.

99% sure that's what they are doing. I watched my dealer put my boat on the new trailer using the front bow eye and the 2 rear tie down points. Made me cringe, but it worked. Kind of unnerving to watch your boat dangle from 3 points and nylon web strap. It was swaying in the 5mph breeze and could literally be moved with 1 hand.

I actually got a little queasy at the 7 second mark--the hull looks like it has metal flake in it, but after looking again, it's water beads....

Not sure. Was hoping to see it next weekend at the harbor but they cancelled it. The sales manager at the harbor said Cobalt did a bunch of market research and surveys after the Miami boat show intro and decided to change a bunch of stuff on it. So it will not be done in time for next weekend. Said it will most likely be fall before they unveil it.

Cobalt dealers can order them now for late model boats. Check them out on the Cobalt website under the "Owner" tab at top of page and scroll down to Latest Innovations.
