Anyone have a Idea how much coolant water a 4.5 block holds.

Just wondering how much water a 4.5 block would hold . Just for a idea to displace with anti freeze.

My old Mercruiser 260 5.7 takes about 4 gallons to fill the block and manifolds through pulling and filling the hoses.

If this is a closed cooling system you shouldn't have to mess with the block.
