Winter Cover (over the tower)

Post by ajcampen »

Had a winter cover made out of aqualon. Went over the tower, under the swim platform and past the boot stripe. All for $1,070. Warrantied for 7 years hope to get ten. Last year shrink wrapped for $300. Boat sits year around in a boat storage yard for $500 total and is 1/2 mile from my ramp.

That's a great deal then. I paid more than that for my bow and cockpit covers.

That's great! My arch and bimini are exposed all the time to spider poop in the slip, and a cover like that would be nice!

Then add a zipper too it and bam you have a tent. Maybe make it snap on to bow and the cockpit cover snaps?

I’m shrink wrapping mine next week for winter storage. This makes me think otherwise. Although, would moisture be an issue with this solution or wind driven snow in the great white north?

I don’t think moister would be an issue and it has vents, however I did this because central Ohio winters are mild. In MInisota I think I would shrink wrap
