I want to install a Sonar Phone Wi-Fi control box under the seat near the battery switch. The terminal connections and fuse boxes for the power trim pump and the windless are right next to the location where I want to install the control box. Can I attach the power connectors for the control box to the power trim pump or windless terminals? I thought if I can do that, I won't have to extend the power cables to reach a battery and the power to the control box will turn off, if I turn the battery switch to off. I do plan to install a hot wire 1 Amp fuse to the control box power cable.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Power Connection for Sonar Wi-Fi
Interesting gadget .. your going to have to show us this trick upgrade in the “ What upgrades “ Thread.
As long as your using a Constant 12v source your fine. The issue is the trim pumps are triggered relay and you would have to be on battery side not the output side. The windlass also sits passive until switche as there’s a module for that.
You’ll need to see the voltage on the lines with key off but battery on.
Ideal is going direct to battery switch .
Look forward to seeing this up and running!!
