Mind blown. Never really thought about how some places get too hot to boat. I think the hottest day I've ever experienced in New England was 103. 116 is insane

We managed to have a full day at the lake with friends. Talked them into an underway photo so I can admire the boat with my family on it (kiddos faces obscured because internets..). The old girl has nice lines with that fold up swim deck but the swimplatforms.com addition is looking better by the season..

I was traveling in separately having gone to a Phish concert with some college buddies last night.

That line stuck out to me. My generation was going to a Grateful Dead concert.
Wonder how many Phish concert goers are Cobalt people?

Ours ended with a great boat pic…fireworks ….and then a drunk driver who took out our tow vehicle and pushed it into our daughter’s Audi both of which were parked during the fireworks show. Fortunately no fatalities.

I'm a little behind in reading. Sorry for your problems. I think we could all use a lake house like MLB.

I span both generations. Caught the tale end of the Grateful Dead's career seeing my first show in 89'. I was also in highschool and college in VT throughout the 90s, so Phish music was everywhere.

Grateful Dead is my first love though. Hence "Cobaltdeadhead" and not "CobaltPhishhead".

I wasn't on the water , but did see plenty of other boats on a beautiful night in Brooklyn Tuesday on a business trip.

We just finished up an epic trip to Northern Michigan. We spent 2 days on Higgins Lake, 1 day on Torch lake and the rest on lake Charlevoix. The lakes were absolutely georgeous. Torch and Higgins were crystal clear and were my two favorite to boat on. This was the best boating I have ever done and highly recommend it (sorry To my Table Rock and Norris Lake friends). The towns were a lot of fun to walk through. We visited Charlevoix, Petoskey, Bay Harbor; Boyne City, Greyling.
