Had a great three days on Winnipesaukee. Capped it off yesterday with some friends and their kids on the water followed by a night seeing Nathaniel Raitliff and the Night Sweats just up the road from the marina. Our own young children were troopers, but toast by 9:30. Cool ride home afterwards seeing about a half dozen fireworks shows along the way popping all over the lake.

Happy Independence Day everyone!

Not a cobalt and not me. Happened right in front of us. They had a roller trailer and had the winch unlatched. Rolled right off. They ended up getting it back on the trailer and went ahead and put it in the water. Only real damage I could see was that it was pretty hard on the trim tabs. I felt like I was watching one of those YouTube videos of boat ramp fails.

Man boat ramps are full of entertainment..especially on 4th of July weekend.

Ours ended with a great boat pic…fireworks ….and then a drunk driver who took out our tow vehicle and pushed it into our daughter’s Audi both of which were parked during the fireworks show. Fortunately no fatalities.

Sorry to hear that A7. Luckily no one was hurt!! Hopefully they have insurance...

They must have hit you right in the tire? As I dont really see any other damage from the rear

Great pics everyone.

A7- glad no one got killed. It does not look like too much body damage to the MBZ. How did the wheel and axle get ripped out like that?

Ya..it's kind of a mystery. By the time we walked back to the car the police, fire truck, tow truck, and ambulance had all left. The only thing that makes sense is that her mini cooper hit that rear tire and wedged into it. The tow truck driver may have pulled her car from mine and at the same time pulled that axle right out.

Fortunately she does have insurance. The state police were right there and witnessed her trying to drive away but said her car was un-driveable....probably because her engine and fascia were wedged into our back tire. They arrested her and filed the police report which we have turned into USAA.

It's a setback for our boating season for sure bbp. Probably done for this summer but so glad we got out when we did. Boat ran like a champ and beautiful weather.

Maybe I need two tow vehicles....or a lake house with a dock. Like MnLB! 8-)
