Evening cruise out to Destin. During the summer on Thursday nights they do fireworks in the harbor and also a quick warbird air demo. Weather curtailed both the fireworks and my hopes for some sunset shots, but the air demo snuck in. It’s a great time if you are ever in town.

FINALLY got out on the lake for the first time this year. I always put our boat through what I call “torture trials” to flush out any weaknesses before I carry any passengers. Start off operating all systems. Then on and off plane with gentle S turns. Finishes with high speed runs and sharp turns back and forth. Couldn’t find any waves to jump this year.
She passed with flying colors other than a piece of zip tie breaking on the flag pole that holds the bottom part of the flag. Running like a champ. Even with a full tank of stabilized winter gas she performed well on Lake Erie.

.
Looking good! Preflight complete and ready for takeoff!

Dustinm,

You got your boat! NICE. Didn't have to wait that long (er) after all. You think your dealer would have let you know it was inbound to ease your mind? Well anyhow, its here. Congrats!

Although these weren’t taken today or even last week my daughter and I snuck out a couple Sunday’s ago between all of the graduation parties including our own daughters graduation party. Hopefully the weather is better for the 4th but I forgot I took these a couple weeks ago. These were taken from the St. Croix river. It’s kinda cool but they still have a working railroad swing bridge just north of Hudson WI. My youngest daughter also got here water craft permit so this is probably the first time I have ever not sat behind the wheel in our boat!

Thanks. We thought of some names but with the CS design of the stern there's not much room to put one.

Our dealer is a little different instead of our salesman or Cobalt giving us an update of where the boat was, we finally received a call from their billing dept asking how we wanted to pay for it as it was being unloaded at the dealership. At that point I called him to set our pick up.

How old is your daughter? Graduation from where?
Mine is 22 and has no interest in anything but sitting in bow with friends or occasionally tubing with friends.
