Xtra shade

Post by Josie29 »

Hello,
I am wondering if anybody could share their solutions for xtra shade on their boats.
I have a SC25 with electric arch but the bimini just doesn’t give enough shade.
I would appreciate any advice or possible solutions
Thank you

.
How about an umbrella pole in the ski tow eye. Plenty of posts regarding that solution on the site J29.

There's a company out there called rapid switch systems. A bit pricey but I'm interested in their approach.

I have seen the umbrella option for the back and I will be using that for sure. but is there anything for the bow that fellow boaters have tried?

theblackstick dot com - New 2 Me 2020 25SC came with it and it is a sweet sweet setup - easy to setup and easy to take down. I leave it up when I an 30mpr and under. Well constructed and provides a lot of aft coverage. Reach out if you would like pictures.

I am looking to track down a busted port navigation light. . . ahh boats, bust out another thousand. . .

Looks like theblackstick.com is basically installed in rod holders.

Absolutely, near perfect fit and was running home ahead of a storm at 34mpr and they held firm with zero excessive wiggling etc. Based on a months nonstop usage, they are worth it.
