Adding Tower Speakers to 2021 R3

Post by jasekro »

Hi all - I have a brand new R3 with platinum sound, without tower speakers. The tower is wired for speakers and I'm toying with installing a couple, maybe JL Audio M6 (7.7 inch). Below is a photo of the amp setup from the factory. It looks like I've got two Roswell R1 900.6 amps, and since everything is wired up, I would expect I'd have enough power for the additional speakers. But I'm no expert, so wanted to gut check with you all. Any thoughts/advice? Thanks!

I could be wrong. I don't think they wired the towers to that amp. Just pre ran wires. You maybe need to add a amp. What's your goal on the speakers? Just chilling behind the boat or for boarders to hear behind the boat?
