JL audio's last generation 10" subs are being cleared out, starting at $109 on creativeaudio.net. Crazy good price - you could add two and have better bass coverage throughout your boat for $220 than their $700 12" sub (which is still a better pick if you want extremely high volume). Check out:

Hmm. Class D, maybe 400W or so total, marine rated, with crossover built in. I'm tempted to say stick with JL Audio, but none of them are really "cheap."
As an example for one of them, maybe Rockford Fosgate (bridged):
For a pair of them, could stick with Rockford Fosgate:
or a Kicker:

or Kenwood:

In for one as well. Thanks for the link. Now to find an amp and decide if I want to put a 10” hole in my baby or put it in a box....

Thanks John. I now have an extra month to think about it.

Its a free air sub so I dont know how well it will like a box? When I was 16 I knew all these answers but since subs now come factory I really dont pay attention anymore.First time Big Block wrote: Sun May 09, 2021 8:59 pm In for one as well. I will probably just go with the factory location. Waiting until we get back from vacation, but will be replacing the 4 factory Sony speakers that are 21ish years old and probably adding 2 more either in the bow or by the swim platform with the sub and Amp(s). Eventually will add both for 8 total.dustinm wrote: Fri May 14, 2021 9:25 amIts a free air sub so I dont know how well it will like a box?
