I did not find any spray or ride issues with our 220. What year was yours?
His was the same as mine. He's just a crabby old man that didn't want to get wet while boating!
Actually we go back a ways. He's a great guy. He has a I can't keep a boat for more than a month disease. His is worse than mine.
Shouldn't you be working or something?
Nope I my lunch hour
They changed from 2012 to current. He had a classic like mine. Which is a totally different hull then the 220 2003 to 2009. He needs a ride in a crownline 202. That is one wet boat!

My 2017 220 rides like a dream, No issues. But it is not subjected to 4-6 foot waves either. Big water lake, does just fine.
Thanks for the update/reassurance. I was starting to get nervous, as in there are no new R5s(the only R series I would consider) to trade our CS in on anywhere.

222. Had a 220, wasnβt a fan. Went to a older model.
Based on your notes, youβll want the 222.
Biggest complaint with the 220 was ride quality. Didnβt handle our lake as well as other boats I owned. Turning is excellent and gets on plane quick. But the spray is constant. No matter where the trim is or the angle you take the chop. Trust me, I tried it all before selling it.

A month? I am lucky to keep it for more than 2 weeks!
