Warning...Painful to look at
It's gel coat repair day.
The bow is getting fixed from where I ran into a dock at Lake Powell and a previous poor repair. The blue damage is from the dock, the white is from the previous owner. I always knew there was something 'off' about the nose, but not until I met with the gel repair guy did he point out the poor repair that was previously done.
He is also going to repair a scratch in the side, but just do a small repair, not a respray as there are no natural breaks so it would be a big blend. He said if it doesn't look good, then we can go to plan B.

He’s not removing the rub rail to repair the bow? Aren’t you replacing the rub rail anyway?

Never mind, tiny phone screen, I see it’s gone now.

.
Nice job. Like a mirror!
Now get that rub rail on and let’s get boating.

Re: Warning...Painful to look at
Looks like they did an excellent job. There is an outfit out on the south side that does fiberglass work. I had them do some stuff for me once and it was a nice job they did. In fact their business was only 6 blocks from where I lived.
