We have customers who call GM instead of the dealer to verify warranty coverage on items like bulbs, wiper blades and even collisions.
I called Fender once as guitar center was giving me the run around on getting wiring schematic.
Ever had the need to go around the store and call the MFG directly on something? Appliances? Furniture? Even pet supplies?
Back in the day I bought a 2006 Subaru WRX - which I call my quarter life crisis oh my God I have enough money to purchase my first new car off the dealer lot car.
I did some research and found that Subaru actually included Brake pads and Rotors within the factory warranty. Most car manufactures consider them wear items which are obviously excluded, but not Subaru. 26 year old Jeff took this as a personal challenge. Think it was 3 Sets of pads and a Rotor change in 36,000 miles.
Now Pet Supplies is an interesting question. Marzen loves to chew. We got him a stuffed turtle squeaky toy off Amazon. It was advertised as being virtually indestructible. He had it killed and the stuffing out in about 30min. Factor warranty Claim? False Adverting lawsuit?
What kind of animal kills a turtle. He is a savage Goldendoodle.
Now that’s interesting. Nerf makes this tennis ball cannon that we got for Captain. The balls are very heavy grade.
Cap ripped all the fur off it and then started devouring rubber. He ate two of them and now he’s very protective of the last ball as he’s seen them in the trash.
I’m obviously calling nerf corporate as soon I finish drafting this post.
okay, I'm concerned that Captain ate his own balls. Does that not bother anyone else?

Captain is at a very confusing time in his teenage dog life. Dog puberty if you will. It is totally natural for him to explore his own body. Judgement free zone YT.

Are the spaulding pro v's the ones with the tiny nubs so they don't fly off on your backswing?
I’ve never had that issue with those grips. I had them fitted years ago and was told doing them again would be big $$
I’ve learned a light grip but after a few boozers I hang on tighter.

No way man. New grips are the way tons of good options out there. Check out the golf pride tour velvet as a good starting point. A man of your means should only play the best golf equipment.

If you would have said Winn grips I would have had to take away your posting privileges. Fall apart in your hands within 2 months.

No way buddy - I have played Tour Velvet forever. Sometimes half cord sometimes not. Always in a midsize.
My Mizuno's came /w MCC Plus 4 Align's on them. I like them well enough, they only have a season on them so we will see whats the new hotness next year when they get swapped out.

Bruce had a good thread going, one of the most interesting I've read on this forum. Not sure why others that don't even have R Series boats hijack it and ruin it for others that were interested. Oh well..... thanks for taking the time to document and share your ideas with us while it lasted.
Hahaaaa! Hi-Jacks are a thing around here, or used to be anyway. I've seen post go 3, 4, and 5 different directions, but they eventually come back to the beginning. As Liquid said, no harm intended, and Bruce, you DO have a good thing going with all your mods and documentation. Please continue!

Nope...I am done
We make jokes around here. Remember jokes? We’ve all come here because we have a similar interest and looking for a sense of community, of which this one is very tight.
Everyone is enjoying the thread. Don’t let a little new guy hazing make you pack up your ball and go home.
Spudnutter - bold first post. I suggest you read a few more threads. Also, welcome to the forum.

Oh come on, what's the fun in that? It was just a little thread derail. Has to happen from time to time or this place gets really boring. A good conversation about pet turtles helps to break of the monotony of people asking about things like the differences between an R3 and a R5. What Engine they should put in a boat? What speakers are best? How do I add LED's? Etc. Etc.
Just a little offseason Cabin Fever Fun.
No one should take the internet so seriously.
