I went to wyotech. The first engine I got to rebuild was a 289 also from a rust free 65 mustang I believe it was. During the rebuild I felt like Matt for a second. On the table the pistons were on the rods and all of a sudden they started bouncing up and down on the table. Wth? Then a kid from California goes is a earthquake. He goes now it feels like home here. Lol
My first and only earthquake and my first engine and a sailor called Mattits a full circle now

Earthquakes are flat out scary....no way around it. I've been through floods, brushfires, tornados, hurricanes and earthquakes. No question, the quake was the freakiest thing I've ever experienced. All I need now is locust and plague and I have Bingo!

They did, turns it out whoever installed the replacement windshield did an amazingly bad job. New glass and all is fixed.

Great. If it wasn’t the windshield I was going to suggest some areas to look. My shop was located at a Ford dealership for a while. They sent all those issues to me.

Well thank you for the offer. It was terrible, super frustrating, and I was about to trade the truck if it wasn't the windshield. Love the truck, but it has spent some time in the Ford dealership for sure. Mostly my fault, I should have known better than to buy a first year model of any car or truck. I've never had any intention of getting rid of my '04 Dodge Cummins but after reading this post.....i know I'll never get rid of it. It's tickling 200K miles and the only problem it's had is 1 injected and a bad lift pump. It starts on the coldest morning and pulls anything I tag on behind it. I can't see putting up with the things talked about here. New technology is very amazing but for me if it's not broke why fix it. I have 2 son's that are Diesel techs...not dealer techs but Diesel techs....if anything goes wrong with my rig a couple of phone calls and it's fixed. Sorry just my 2 cents.
