Winterization not needed?

Post by womblesd »

Can anyone tell me what model year Volvo switched to the motor with the enclosed water system not requiring winterization? Thanks!

Not sure on the year...maybe 2016? However, it still requires some winterization by using the Easy Drain system to drain the heat exchangers and raw water system so no freeze damage occurs on that side of the system.

I think 2017 also. Been Cobalt fan long before purchase, and this seems correct.
