The freight company dropped off a surprise today. Can't wait to find time to get it unboxed and then installed!!

Don't have time for another few days for installation, but I went ahead and got the crate opened up for the new Swimplatforms.com extended swim platform. Packaged just as well as last time. I'll post more videos with step-by-step for those that are thinking about getting one for their boat:

Just got my order in with Aquamarine Deck on Friday for a full set for the interior, integrated swimdeck, and also the extended swim platform. We had Seadek on our old Searay Weekender, had MarineMat on the Cobalt 232 we just sold. Figured we would give Aquamarine Deck a shot this time. So far the phone and email response time has been very fast, they've answered the phone each time i called with questions, and they sent me the dryfit templates for non additional charge so that I can confirm everything will be cut correctly before they cut the final pieces. Dryfit pieces shipped today (that was way faster than I expected). I'll post some updates once they arrive.

Yea I used them as well. Started off pretty good too.
My only issue was they sent me the pads based off the reg template and not the updated one that I had my corredtions on. So the fit wasn't exactly what I wanted. I didn't want to deal with the hassle so I just installed it. Just my OCD that knows. I get over it as long as I don't look at it 😂😂

I had similar issues with MarineMat. I sent them very accurate drawings on mylar of the entire area I wanted covered on our 232 And there were multiple issues. They sent me two sets of replacements, but there was still problems with fitment. They said they would send me a third shipment with the two remaining parts that didn't fit right but they never did, and they soon after stopped responding to me. I went ahead and made it worked and just let it be.

And with Seadek they sent me parts they already had a template for on our old SeaRay Weekender. They didn't fit white right and I couldn't even get a single response from them for support. I adjusted them and made some small cuts and got it to work.

I'm hoping for a better post-sales experience with Aquamarine Deck, but we shall see. Talking to them in detail last week it seems like they are doing mandatory dry-fit shipments of templates for most Cobalts these days. Which is nice peace of mind in my opinion. So hoping that allows me to make the adjustments I need on their templates before they cut the final pieces. I'll keep you guys posted.

This is the first time we are doing the entire boat in the faux teak flooring instead of just the swim platform areas. So I'm hoping for the best, and cautiously optimistic.

Replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and distributor rotor. All with OEM Volvo Penta parts. Except the spark plugs, I prefer aftermarket with the plugs. I made a video as too, incase it's helpful to any others doing the a tuneup and maintenance...

I made that mistake once and have regretted it every since. I wish I would have had gone with my choice.

Danggit. That's my fear too. I usually ask for forgiveness instead of permission.

What color did you go with versus what you wanted to go with?
