Hours meter stopped working

Hi all - I have a 1990 Condurre 223 and the hours meter just stopped at 529.6 hours. Not sure ho to repair this. Any common issues out there or recommendations where to start diagnosing?

Hey C454. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

Check to see if one or both of the spade plugs pulled off the back of the Hobbs meter. If so just push it back on. Do you have an electrical tester? That can help diagnose to see if you’re getting 12 volts back there.

If you have power and grd to the Guage then you will have to replace it. Then power the new one till you get that many hours on it.
