Just towed 2001 Cobalt 263 from Colorado to Lake Tahoe - changed props to F4 and all is well!

Hey mascara. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

And yeeeehaww. Another 260 series owner. You’re really going to enjoy that ride.

Any engine pics? How is she powered?
I’m curious about the piece of wood on the hull topside.

I’m guessing a stereo upgrade and stainless cup holders are in your future?

Again welcome aboard mate(e)!

Welcome from your Niebor on the Delta!
Let’s here about you high elevation captains report with those F4s.

I like the off shore controls as hoping waves in Tahoe will be easy, and the unicorn cushion package is sweet!

Welcome!

Beautiful boat. I love the looks of the 263 but the open bow of my 262 is a must have.

Good luck with it!

Congrats on your purchase! I just picked up a 262 myself! How did the Explorer do towing that heavy boat?

I think we know how an explorer would handle that boat. I hope the op has a slip and doesn’t tow as much as I do.
