I think my husband just drives like a lunatic..... He drives trucks and trailers for our excavation business every day, so trailering a boat feels like nothing.

Ok, I will just add the checking the "loose nuts" before every trip. Hubby should be happy about me checking nuts before boating!
I'm happy once a year on my bday for that very reason. Welcome aboard 👍😂
I should go back and check my “once a year” contract.
Go look now don't wait for your bday.
Or go play some big bass on the sub.

Late entry. We have the soft mat and love it. Ours is tan, which goes well with the brown dash, and hasn't been that hard to keep clean.
I keep 409 in our deck box.

Have had seagrass in the last two Cobalts; wouldn't get anything else. Carpeting is something that should be in a bedroom, not in a boat, IMO (had in 1st Cobalt)--takes too long to dry, too hard to clean and just looks dingy unless brand new. SeaDek is ok for swim platform (had on 2nd Cobalt), but had a heck of a time keeping it clean also, even with 409 and a brush. Hot also, unless wet (which is why ok on platform).

Does anyone know who the OEM is for Seagrass? I'm considering replacing my 5 year old carpet in my R5 with Seagrass? Is the recommendation to order this through my Cobalt dealer or to go to the OEM or a reseller of Seagrass?

Based up on my recent experience in ordering parts from Cobalt, they seem to be significantly delayed in getting orders out. I ordered some bimini bolts on 6/29 and still don't have them. So I would recommend going to a reseller. More work potentially for you, but they are not taking as long. Given its the end of the season, time may not matter.

Its not bad but it looks dated and a little worn and does stay a bit soggy when wet. So looking to upgrade it. I had originally thought of using Seadeck or MarineMat but have now seen quite a few boats near me with these and it looks like it gets dirty and stains easy. So now considering and leaning towards Infinity LV.

So I'm still leaning towards Infinity Luxury Vinyl and their Teak II line with HD backing. Does anyone have a recommendation for where to purchase? And does anyone have a template for a 2015 R5? Happy Labor Day!
