I keep mine in the ski locker as well. Easily fits in there.

About to take delivery of a new R5 on Lake Champlain (wish I had discovered this forum BEFORE I bought...) and would love to get my hands on one of these umbrella adapters. Do you still have some for sale?

Just received my adapter... Great service, Slide!

Now trying to find a black 9' umbrella with the 1.38 pole and not having much luck... Suggestions?

Here's one similar to one I bought from chair king which fit the adapter fine when the bottom pole (below the crank) is unsnapped.

slideruleracer wrote: Mon Sep 17, 2018 9:29 pm Awesome! Glad it worked out. I'm finishing up some seat pan kits this week and then will make up a few umbrella adapters after that. Thanks for getting me the feedback! I bought different mig wire and gas so that the welds flow out a little better in the 316 than the prototype.
Slide you still making these? Would they fit in a 1997 200 by chance? So burnt after this weekend. Need to add some shade.

I am still making these, but I don't believe a 1997 200 has a removable ski pylon, so I don't have a product for you just yet.

Yep your right. In further examination it won’t work for me

How hard would it be to add a place to screw this in on our boat?

Tough call.. I do have a concept for something that could fasten onto the older style ski hooks, but I'm finding it very hard to make time for building more prototype designs.

Hey All,

We are heading to TRL for the Regatta and need to add more shade. If anyone has one of Sliderule Racing's adapter for an R series that they would like to sell, please message me and I will bring cash. I am also heading to Lowe's and HD tonight to look for other potential solutions. If not for sale, I will gladly rent.

Thanks

Hey Motex, I have some in stock and could get it out tomorrow. Not sure if you'd need overnight shipping, but 2-day isn't usually too bad.
