Anyone have any experience with 2011 WSS 242

I was just looking around and stumbled across this boat. Looks really clean. Any opinions / experience etc with 2011 WSS 242 with (what jumped out 8.1 and 4 tower speakers).

Was this a premium stereo setup with 4 towers speakers Or likely an add on. I don’t see stereo setup so curious if it already has amps etc. I don’t see a sub either so... what is the grate below the driver seat? But look at this engine. Wow look at the chrome exhaust pipes. Those are pretty. I am seriously going to have to go look at this in person I am thinking. A covid day trip ???

TCG. This Cobalt is screaming for you to set her free on the lake with the fam and friends. You’ll make some great memories on her tubing and wakeboarding. ....especially with that arch

The grate below the steering wheel is an upgrade option on many Cobalts. Stainless steel to enhance the look.

I don’t see a sub either. It could be tucked inside somewhere as that’s an excellent sound system. Wet Sounds tower speakers and in-boat speakers. The horn tweeters and power handling along with high sensitivity will make that boat rock. Curious on your amp set up. Looks like the head unit on the right side of the helm is removed too. Ask about that. My guess is that’s an aftermarket system someone had installed. Cobalt went thru phases using Sony for a long time, Samson tower speakers, and now JLAudio. Wet sounds and JL are arguably the best in the biz now.

Definitely worth a test drive brother. Maybe take a video or two and post them.

Oh and that shiny exhaust....it’s a Corsa system using Captains call to let that big block engine scream around the lake in her full glory....or you can muffle it with the flick of a switch for the faint of heart.

As always I’d recommend a survey. Do some price negotiation and get that low hour, nicely equipped Cobalt behind your tow rig.

Heck at first I missed the engine!! Ok no I didn't
I just saw the Corsa Captains Call!!! That's worth the 56k alone!
I am not sure that is a wss series though. I think that tower might have been added on. It looks like what they call the Razor tower I think by Samson. Yes great stereo set up prob 5k in that alone. Go buy that baby today and be happy!!!
The WSS series is my fav. It's also missing the WSS decals. So in that regard I think it's only a 242. But sure what year but I thought the WSS also only had the flip pass cockpit chair. Not that any of this matters except on his they are blue booking the boat. If it fits buy it.

I cant tell by the pictures they are too blurry. I'll look tomorrow though.
I'm corrected that is a factory tower.

Your Wet Sounds tower speakers should clear but you may want to check that if you plan on using the fold down function.
