Just ordered this tube for the kids.

Anyone familiar with the Sportstuff Doable Bat X-ray ski tube?

Yep, I have that one in my arsenal. It will really steer when you work it right. Works better in rough water as the ride is smoother and it tends to pull nose up as the attachment is under the tube.

I use it with the tow ball in the photo. Keeps the rope out of the wake.

I air it up firm, seems to help.

We broke a couple of these and I think I'm going to order another one.

Awesome Driller...thanks! I did like the steerable feature as well.

I may skip the ball as our Pylon keeps the ropes higher...plus that attachment under the tube will help "lift" it.

Can't wait to get the kids on it.

You really can't fling it much as the fins keep it from sliding. You can help them steer crossing the wake with a little boat maneuvering.

I use it when the lake gets crowded and I can't manuver the boat with the regular tube.

Check the D ring on the tube for a good weld. Mine spread and would come loose. Had it re welded and now it is fine. Originally came with just a small spot weld. Now welded fully with stainless.

I have to add my tube. Takes next to nothing to swing this out even with the driver.
If I had a tower I'm pretty sure I could get this thing to go around the boat.
Sadly I do not think they make it any more.
