New Cobalt Owner & Excited

Post by djp2303 »

Hello Cobalt Owners,

Happy to say our family is back into boating, its been 10 years. Purchased a R5 Surf boat about a month ago and have enjoyed every minute we have used it to date. We boat on Lake Conroe, just north of Houston.

Here are a couple pictures of our purchase and will patiently wait for next boating season to arrive to take full advantage.

Peace

Welcome from Missouri! Wow what a great way to get back into boating by jumping straight into an r5! Let’s see some more pics of that beauty to hold us over in the dreaded winter.

Welcome from California.
That’s an awesome looking combo . I assume you float it on the trailer but I’ll suggest guide poles to keep you centered and the drive away from harm.
So on with more pics!

Aslan 7,

Between the kids and grand kids around 7 or 8 will be taking on the wake surf challenge - we've had a few weekends to try and it and so far it has been awesome, just taking some time to learn the techniques of surfing...

cmattj, we actually bought a lake house, went all in since I'm not getting any younger so the boat is at the house on a lift - much more convenient than having to trailer.

I woke up one morning, thought about the kids growing up and us getting older, better buy a boat soon. We jumped right in. Good call!

Welcome from South Texas. Great looking boat. I have heard nothing but good things about Lake Conroe. I plan to haul her there one weekend next summer. I’ll look got you.
