Any adjustment for air temperature gauge?

Post by CobaltBill »

I have a new 2019 CS23 and notice that the air temperature appears to be reading way off. In-dash unit was reading 81 degrees while actual air temperature was 70. This was long after the mooring cover had been removed and the boat had been in motion for over 30 minutes. Any adjustment for this?

I would find it where they mounted it. Mine is mounted under the helm and it never gets any air flow.

Same issue along with an overly optimistic water temp readout. Picture of sensor?

I'll try when I get home. I've replaced the outside one on a diff boat. Pretty easy. Mine has been acting up this year but I'll prob add a chart plotter one of these days so I'm not gong to fix it yet.

+1--Both the air and water temp gauges in my 220S read almost exactly 10 degrees high. Since it's consistently 10 degrees I never did anything about it but apparently it's not an uncommon issue.

On the positive side, my speedometer pretty much matches my phone gps reading all through the speed ranges 👍

Mine is too. This is the first boat I've owned that was like that.

I said it in my other thread, but I was amazed at how accurate the spedo is on my 252 vs GPS.
