After talking to Corsa they did say merc will work Volvo steering is in the way. So lstgrt1 I have to get some more fuzzy pictures of the inside and what is diff on the merc steering mechanism. I wonder if it's just down lower. Corsa said I can send the exhaust out the side. I days this isn't a Crownline. I'm not drilling holes in the side of my boat. Yecks!!

I found a 8.1 220 with corsa I got pictures of it. Sent it to corsa and I think they are working on something. I think I can make something work. It's all with time.

Not sure if it will help, but I can upload a picture of my CC setup on my 220.

If I am not mistaken, they are angled in towards the center. I will be out there this week and grab a picture.

That motor will sound ridiculous. To be honest, I am not sure how you waited so long to do it.

I cut holes in a previous boat of mine to install CC. I would recommend buying 2 hole saws. 1 for each side. You want the cleanest possible cut. For me, the second cut was much more difficult. Also, don't use 5200. Corsa should tell you that. I believe they'll recommend 4200.

Thanks. You have a merc. But I'll still take pictures from you. Thanks. lstgrt1 has the 496 merc. He lives 15 minutes from me. I'll get over to his house soon. Merc must put the steering arm down lower than Volvo. That is corsa's hang up on a Volvo. I got a good picture of a 220 Volvo with a 8.1 now too. I have to get out in the boat too see just how tight it's going to be. I need a s pipe to get it to come in. I can get it custom made from corsa or from the guy that did my tower so I'm not to worried about making it happen.
I haven't felt the need for it yet. The Volvo is pretty loud to begin with.
