I joined last week in the anticipation of buying a Cobalt and I made it official Saturday after the sea trial. The wife wanted a to get back into boating after our kids grew up a little (I have a 5,3, and 15 month old). I made it clear that I was only interested in a Cobalt and she (not kidding) "said isn't that a car"?
We plan on boating in our area of Clayton/Alex Bay. We will do a trip to Lake George and the Great Sacandaga Lake (where I grew up). Glenn, who I bought the boat from ( and is going to join the chat) invited me down his way to meet up. I believe he bought a 2012 232.
I will be looking to the great information on the site to keep her running in tip top shape. Here are some of the items I plan on working on this year. If you have any thoughts, please share.
*Fixing the trim gauge accuracy
*Fix the letter T (Big Block Power sent me to the right place)
*Bringing back the slight fade on the rear of the boat
Other than that she is pretty mint for her age.
Thanks for reading and have a great week!
