Thanks for the welcome! A get together would be fun
Hey I just looked at your post buying a house at LOTO. That is a nice looking place you have there. We had a contract on a home at the 33mm but backed out of it after doing inspections. We ended up at the 19mm in 2017 and couldn't be happier.

firecapt262 wrote: Fri Feb 15, 2019 8:07 am I just purchased my first Cobalt. I just recently retired as a Fire Captain from the Maryland heights Fire District in St. Louis County after 43 years. We moved to the LOTO in 2017 to enjoy retired life. We live at the 19mm and I soon realized my 21' Ranger Fish & Ski wasn't a great boat on the weekends at the 19mm. So 6 months ago I started looking for a good used Cobalt in good shape. I finally found a great boat in Austin, Texas at Boat Town. The boat is a 2004 Cobalt 262 with a Volvo 8.1 dual prop motor with 287 hours on it. This week I flew down to Texas to look at the boat. To check it out and take it for a test ride and it looked and performed excellent. So around the first week of April they will be delivering the boat so I can have some fun this summer
Greetings from Local 3586. Good to have another hose monkey here...I'm in Des Moines but frequent LOTO. My family has a house at the 24MM in the same cove as Bay Point Condos. Love it down there. Enjoy retirement and the Cobalt.

Welcome from a fellow LOTO boater. That's a good looking model. We store our boat at the 19mm (Kelly's). Currently looking for a lake house. Hard to believe how many Cobalts are on LOTO. Pray for warm weather!!

Here's is another Lake of the Ozarks owner. We are at the 11 mile marker, We have a white/blue trim 292 with twin 350s and dual props on each. 290 hours and beautifully kept by former owner. No trailer, but a great boat lift. Still getting used to twin engines after a lifetime of single outboards, but doing better every weekend. We back into the slip.
