I'll find out tomorrow. Mine are still on. I'll pop them off tomorrow. They quoted me that last year when I was going to get my other set repitched. You get a winter discount till Feb 28th. They are about 35 miles from me.

Ok I met Brett in person today. Great guy. It was cool to talk boats again. He's a car guy too. Worked for Mercury Racing. Has 2 other techs from there also. He saw more than I saw of course with what was wrong with my junk Hill Marine props. So he's going to lab finish both props and balance them after that. He said they are already 3 weeks backed up. So if your thinking of getting your boat in the water by April you might want to get them to him soon. Plus the month of Feb you will save almost $200.00 which will almost cover my ecu upgrade.

So you're in for ~$600? I'm torn because we have Fox Lake Propeller here and he does all the local drag boat props, and he's only wanting $200 to repair, balance, and polish my props.

I think it will be cost to 700 when done. Your choice. I'm sure the fox lake guy is good but Brett has a great reputation around the world. I'm in.

I hear ya, and If I had more of a straight performance boat Brett would be the guy. I don't think the 500-600 extra dollar would convert to noticeable performance gains of what Fox Lake can do for me, plus I've been using Fox Lake for years and he always goes the extra mile for me. Living on the Chain getting props redone is almost an annual thing, lol.

That is impressive - we have a 226 with a stock 7.4 mpi Bravo 3 28P with a 2:1 ratio. the best we got is 63.5 mph 1/2 take of fuel and 2 in the boat. Cool air and water - very slight chop. I had the props redone over the winter - nothing bad - very very slight dings - It will be interesting in the spring what the ol girl can do

If I can hit 63 with the retune and prop work I'll be a happy camper, but 6mph seems optimistic. Only time will tell. I intend to replicate the conditions as closely as possible by doing the testing early spring while water and air temps are still cool.

I sent my ecu out today. Props are getting worked on as we speak. I'll get them in a week or 2. Can't wait to see how this works out for us. So exciting. We will have to break out the ice cutters

Yeah buddy! Dropped my props off last week, should be done Saturday. I was wrong too, first time with a dual prop, cost me $360 good customer price for repair, balance, cupping, and mirror polish. Can't wait to get that bling back!

Saying 60* next Wednesday, crunch time to get the spring maintenance done!

Be a shame to hide these bad boys in the water. He said they had been reworked once already and not very well. He has Mercury dies and he said they didn't match the dies very well, which was why they were so out of balance. All fixed and added a bit of cupping to give it some more bite. Can't wait to see what these do with the new tune and extra 400 rpm!

No, they were factory satin finish before. I've been on the Chain most my life, I'm a master mud puddle navigator.
