Well, it’s suppose to blizzard here Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We’re suppose to leave early Thursday, but you know, I may have to bulldoze more snow.So just in case, I made two separate flights to choose from as we move closer. One for Thursday morning as planned, and one for Friday afternoon as a backup.. I love Southwest Airlines. . So easy to love and a great cancellation policy.
If the weather is going to be as bad as predicted, the airport will probably be closed, or a bunch of cancellations will screw things up. If I don’t double book, we will probably be stuck.
Umm A7, Piloting our flight? We’ve got plenty of room for a layover! Mission BBQ awaits!
.
Hey T....I'd love to fly us both down there brutha. Just had a double Fort Myers overnight to recharge. Operation Vitamin D was in full swing. I'm certainly ready for another. I have a Pit and Omaha overnight this week...poor planning on my part.
Post a snow plow pic and then a beach pic. ...and hang in there my friend.....only 50 more days til spring in our part of the world.
Uggg. That would have been GREAT!.
We will catch it right some time!
We usually hop the direct to Fll, rent and drive across the alley. Then fly back out of RSW. Always a great deal with perfect flight times that way..

Yes we will, T.
You have a beautiful set up my friend.
PS...my dad says hello.
Please tell dad that I said hi, and we all need to plan a second get group get-together .
Grrr, our flight tomorrow was cancelled.
Thanks to prior experience of knowing to double book in the winter, we are out of here on Friday on the flight of our choosing. Everything is now sold out.
SWA..Love their policies.

My wife saw this on facebook this morning and we laughed because all of us who’ve grown up with these winters have been there at least once.

Haha Bum/BB.
How did we end up here? I blame my grandfather!
Correct it wasn't my choice but it will be my choice to leave soon.
We have snow coming here all day today. Then another big storm coming Tuesday. Of course while I'm in Vegas for work. Oldest son is in charge of keeping the wife from shoveling or I'm dead meat. That was just for you T
I sure could go for some great tasting jerky this winter. Lol let's call it peppered bigblock. Lmao

Yep, it's my grandfathers fault for sure! I love summers in MN and for boating it's hard to beat with the 12,000+ lakes. We were happy to leave after 20 years in California but as soon as our youngest graduates from high school in 2023 we are spending 6+ months in Naples Florida every winter. I just looked at the climate data for Naples and their lowest average high is 74* and last year they only had 11 days where the high temperature was below 70*!
