My Lake is now frozen at the marina.(lake Muskoka) Very early this year. Cobalt has been stored for three weeks. I just bought a thermal underwear suit to go inside a drysuit. Will be kayaking to the island without a worry in the world right till total freezup.
Other than ice and slush, I love winter.

How far is the trip Nicad? I think its interesting that your lake house is on an island without vehicle access, especially when I think of all the crap I've hauled in over the years. In my minds eye the idea sounds great until I realize there is no getting in and out in a hurry. Sooo many times I forget this or that and have to pop back in.

Any chance you could show a pic of your place? Seems like you did once but I dont remember where.
