Maybe it’s my generation, but Burt’s movies were timeless.
I still crack up at Reynolds and Gleason in Smoky And The Bandit as if I saw it for the first time.

It always confused me that the TransAm shifted and rev'ed like it was a manual transmission but all shots of the interior were of an automatic. Surly the Bandit was man enough to know how to use a clutch.
I still put this song on any road trip spotify playlist I make. We are getting rain all weekend, maybe a smokey and the bandit marathon is in order, Katie will loce it.

I had the honor of meeting Burt f2f a couple years ago. He got out of the car on stage at B-J, stood up up and said
"Damn! Where did all these people come from? Bet theres some pretty girls out there"!

He lives on! I spotted this guy last Friday. We sold a Burt Reynolds collection and he was there to represent it. But before I knew that, I just thought it was a guy stuck in the 70s since you see folks dressed pretty weird sometimes.
