Those shark tunnels are pretty cool Suthern! We did the same thing with the grandbabies a couple weeks ago!
You should try to work a trip in to visit the Memorial while your there. It's humbling and quite an experience.

I haven't been able to bring myself to go to the memorial. That day was surreal for me.

My wife and her friend were in the city last weekend. Went to the memorial. It was a very moving experience for them. I of course was working.

It was a crazy day. Being from Jersey... I could see the smoke. My stepbrother worked for Cantor at the time and thankfully was not in the building... A lot of friends and family severely impacted... I worked everyday in midtown up until 2012 and I could never bring myself to go down there.

I have issues with it myself.. I’ve been to NY plenty of times, and I’ve not visited the site.

My daughter lives in DC, so every time we visit, I like to do another museum. I’ve been putting off two particular museums.
Last time, my son and I visited, I relented and visited the Holocaust museum. I left there sick.
Walking through one of the actual train cars used to transport Jews to Treblinka was sickening to me.
Racism is the true enemy of mankind, and it’s blossoming at an alarming rate lately..

I've been to Krakow, Poland and visited Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp glad I got to see it, but very eerie and disturbing. Hard to believe, but we need to remember so that we don't repeat the same mistakes.

Just surreal one human can treat another in such barbaric ways.
I can’t help but imagine what talent, what incredible discoveries and what medical cures went down with 6 million innocent souls.

+1
Well said Driller. I never served, and have always wondered if I had, would I have had the guts to do what those kids do to protect us. I'd like to think so, but have always wondered.

Thanks to all that have.
