That's a huge upgrade and makes the whole boat much larger.
I like that stern cushion. I’m sure they attach to stay while underway?
Stays in place with mount and 2 Barrel bolts. Keep a check on it though.

Thanks liquid, Ytmsn...I'm probably just going to get a single 1200 lumen light, but it's good to know that it'll fit.

Take care,

Be sure whatever you buy has the clearance to screw in. The thread fits, sure, but screwing it in may hit the anodes. That's why I went with the double thingy. I had to unscrew the lights from the brass Y fitting, screw it in, then screw the lights back on for it to clear.
Matt has twins with the drain hole in between and nothing in the way.

Oh, wow...THAT is helpful! Thanks for the tip. I'll take some measurements before I order. I guess I'd be OK with a double setup, if I had to go that way. I've also looked at the transom mounted units, like this: https://www.boatpluglight.com/collectio ... /the-token, bit I'm not sure whether running wire up the transom is a good idea. Either way, I'm going to install the remote and wire it straight to one of the the batteries: https://www.boatpluglight.com/collectio ... -and-pulse

I did the transom thing on my last boat. Its disconcerting drilling into a transom. I worried the whole time, and I had a "pro" do it. The boat plug light is the way to go.

Be sure to order the remote with it. I dont know anything about wiring so I had the guys at the stereo shop do it. Now I just reach into the glove box and get the remote out.

Mine are RGB, but I like this one the most. The green creeps Nauti out but I love swimming around in this!

Added some LEDs to the cockpit & engine compartment. We don’t boat much at night but thought it was an easy custom touch.

Added a dual battery charger this past weekend. Nice buy for $99 on clearance at Sheel's. Beats the heck out of running a charger and leads to each battery every time.

To finish it, I got a new hole saw coming this week to install the charger port on the side of the rear walkthrough. Charging as simple as plugging in an extension cord from this point forward.

Finished the onboard charger project yesterday by drilling a sweet 1-⅞" hole in my boat. Installed the Marinco flush mount charger outlet next to the rear trim switch. Wanted to be able to change without opening the engine hatch. Bonus is I can get to this easily from a dock, and I can also open/close the engine hatch without unplugging. Also with the port on the outside (of the walkthrough) I can be plugged in and can still walk through the boat without tripping over a cord. Couldn't ask for a better spot. Obligatory pics attached.

Also went full bore on the tunes, and ripped out all 6 stock Sony speakers and the cheapo amp that the prior owner installed (incorrectly). Ran all new wires throughout as well. Went with a JL Audio M600/6 amp, with six JL Audio MX650 speakers all around. I must say this setup is sweet. Didn't expect it to sound as good as it does. The available power really makes a difference. Can't recommend this setup enough.

I will never run this thing as loud as this can run, and it's still distortion free. Had to play with (lower) the input sensitivity on the amp quite a bit to get reasonable volume range available on the Sony head unit.

I stopped short of installing a sub. Not sure I need it. May change in the future but for now this setup is more than adequate.

Making the harness of wires for the forward port and the three starboard speakers, and running it all up around the bow took the most time. I was pretty anal about the details to be a clean install as well though to be fair. Got everything inside the factory wiring guides, old wiring bundled up and zipped away tight, etc. Was nice having both flexible wire snakes and the solid (but flexible) versions.
