The folks I got it from are conservative and the slow cruiser type, I was completely shocked to see that was the motor combination they bought. Docking it last weekend was a real nail biter for me, but it went ok.
Welcome!! Beautiful boat! With a tiny bit of practice you'll realize that docking with twins is far easier than a single. Several years ago we did a Lake Powell trip on a 53' houseboat with twin outboards and I was nominated to captain the houseboat since the other guys were all busy with their own boats. Didn't take much practice to realize how much more flexibility and maneuverability twins gives you...I felt like a pro docking that thing, even compared to the 22' inboard and 25' I/O I had been used to.

Sweet boat one day I will have twins. I agree as YT and Tgrace know you just have to upgrade the stereo on that bad boy!
Welcome hope to meet in person on TR!
Hey I live in Stilwell, so just down the road from you. Did you have someone do your audio or did you do yourself? Hope to meet you as well TR

Holy Smokes wrote: Tue Jun 19, 2018 6:06 pm Welcome fellow KC area resident! That looks super clean! I had a 1999 293 in the exact same color scheme for almost 8 years on LOTO. These boats are "heavy" and IMHO twins are a must! Had twin Volvo 5.7GSi with the duo-prop drives. Very easy to drive once you get the hang of it. Hit me up with any questions, I know that hull very well!
Thank you for the comments, and would love any suggestions on the boat and that engine combination.

Here you go, these are the only ones I have of the interior, but will take more if you need something specific.

Ok sweet boat. I'm surprised the bow looks so short. Also I have to ask how and why do you tie your dock lines like that. I like it.

I bet the bow is the same length as a 262. Where it gains the 3ft is where the cabinet and fridge is behind the co captain’s chair and the wrap around seat on the starboard side

I can’t stand untidy lines and I happen to be an Eagle Scout, the beautiful part about this is...when you pull on the line at the bottom it just pulls out str8, no untiring! Boom.

Just make an underhand loop reach thru and pull another loop and repeat. Send me a pm and I can send u a diagram.

Thanks

Yea there just held in with silicone.
I think they are 4 inch cup holders. Do want themto light up? Leds are the way to go. Look at the cobalt upgrade thread. Bfun just added a different style to his. Led ring on the outside of the holder. Mine are led inside the holder. Ebay search led or just stainless steel cupholder. Best investment I make
