Lifts / Hoist - Help!

Just pulled the trigger on a new R5 ( much to the great help from this group with directing me what to get )

But now I’m thoroughly confused by which 6000lb Boat Lift to purchase. I think I’ve got it down between Shore Station, RGC, and Max Lift. Any thoughts out there? Confused. Thanks!!!

I use a HydroHoist. Simple design and not much can go wrong. Easy to get on / off as the lift totally sinks and you drive on/off with it submerged. Here in the South HydroHoist has most of the market cornered.

We don’t have a lift but HH is pretty much all you see on our lake.

We had our boat on a HyrdoHoist for 3 years or so until moving to enclosed storage. Simple and great system. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve got a boatfloater 6600lb lift and so far it’s been really nice. But I’ve only had it for about 3 months now. I went with the BF because the marina I keep my boat at had bought a bunch of them for a new dock. So I got a really good deal on it. Easily lifts my 262 which I would guess is about the same dry weight as an r5

I don’t think u are looking for what these guys have. My guess is you need the metal lift that sits in the water. Everyone in chq where I am from uses shorelander and they are great

You’re probably right AJ. Temporary where it can be removed in the winter when it the ice comes.

There you go..

as every waterway has different ideas and outlets, it wise to go with local adaptation of hoists.

We use primarily Hydrohoist here.. local service centers and the company is still in bizz.

I was just at Lake Oconee and " constant level " lakes used fix crank up shorestations with awnings.

Go do some recon... see who's who. Still in bizz and above all.. adjustment and quality bunks .
