Cycleman6 Install is cake walk. Lay out pieces to check fit. Cleaned area, then cleaned with acetone. Cut the backing after checking which way you can bend mat in half for clearance around walls, rails, mounts etc. then tape off 1/2 to hold down, I also put weight on it then lifted the other half, peel backing off and lay it down, then take tape off and do other half then go around sealing all of it down. As long as it didn’t move on the first half it goes very fast. Install took about 1/2 hour by myself for the six pieces. Clean, layout, peel and stick it’s a very straight forward install. Oh ya the other day I installed the quick fender mounts and was a bit freaked by drilling 1” holes in the sides of my new boat, but the pucker factor is much worse than the actual job. Drill in reverse till thru gel coat then slow steady forward with holesaw and boom done. Like I said the worrying is far worse than the job. I actually called the wife and joked, we need a bigger boat I’m out of area to drill holes in it.

Guys, I have to tell you Ashely's customer service at Aquamarine is top notch. I received my swim deck pad today, and was disappointed because I felt that the 'cut' alignment was off. As you can see, it wasn't centered and I knew it would really bother my OCD. I sent her a quick email with the attached photos, and soon after that, I had a prepaid return label emailed to me, so I can ship these mats back. They are going to cut me a new pad all centered and aligned up.

That is beige over black, and Yes, they did send an email proof. I caught the spacing in the proof, she fixed it in the proof, emailed a new one, but they still cut off the original proof, not the modified one.

Bummer. At least she knew it then. They will sell it as a blem. My dry fit well be there tomorrow. I have so many little changes so it will be interesting what they come up with. I also forgot to put my name and info on it.lol so she has to watch for it.

Aquamarine received my swim pad today about noon, and by 4:00 I got a shipping notice the new replacement one was being mailed out. That's service!! Way to make it right! As long as this one is cut evenly, we'll be good

I did look, didn't see anything glaring. But I don't know what I'm looking for either so that's why I asked. In the first pic he posted, is it the lines on the top left segment not aligning with the lines on the rest of the piece?

That’s gonna be hard to correct, either way you end up with at least one wide, or one skinny piece.
