Hi!
I need help. I purchased an Atwood Tsunami to replace my factory installed system.
I thought after I got the old out the battle was won.
I was wrong.
The new pump has 3 wires - black, brown, and brown and white stripe.
My old system had two grey wires from the harness going to a float and a brown and black wire going to the pump.
I have a toggle button and an indicator light on the dash.
Previously when the float kicked the pump on I received and indicator light adjacent to the button and I could manually turn the pump on with the button which also turned the light on.
I can’t find the wiring combination to restore this functionality.
Please help!

Perhaps this schematic of the bilge pump and float switch on my 2007 240 will be useful?

Re: 2010 242 Bilge Pump Wiring
Thanks -
Yes that is helpful and I suspect mine is wired the same. Based on this schematic and the fact the new bilge has an internal float switch, I don’t thing there is a way to illuminate my helm light when the bilge automatically comes in as I don’t have a stand alone float switch any longer.
Thanks again!

Re: 2010 242 Bilge Pump Wiring
Here are pictures of my bilge pump/float switch connector. The top half connector pins are numbered 1 thru 4 from right to left. Notice that there is a solid brown wire at pin 2 on the top half but no wire on the corresponding pin on the bottom half connector.
Also notice that there are two wires doubled up on pin 3 in the bottom half connector.
This is the only connector on my boat where Cobalt used sealed rubber gaskets for waterproofing.
I think your bilge pump helm switch should still light up whether your bilge pump switch OR the automatic float switch turns on the bilge pump.
Hope this helps.
